YLS is a community of young leaders and changemakers. These guidelines keep it safe and constructive. They apply everywhere you can post or message - chat, the feed, profiles, and uploaded media. You must accept these guidelines before posting any content.
Be respectful and constructive; engage in good faith; respect others’ privacy; share only content you have the right to share; and use the platform for its intended community, leadership, and organisational purposes.
Unlawful content, or content that promotes illegal activity.
Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or incitement to violence against any person or group.
Sexually explicit content, and - with zero tolerance - any content or behaviour that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers a child, including grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Graphic violence, content promoting self-harm, or dangerous misinformation.
Spam, scams, deceptive or fraudulent content; impersonation of others or misrepresentation of affiliation.
Content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights; sharing others’ personal data without consent.
Malware, attempts to breach security, or circumvention of access controls.
Every member can report content or a user, and block a user. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team. To report suspected child endangerment, use the in-app reporting tool or contact [CHILD-SAFETY CONTACT] immediately.
We moderate content as appropriate to the community and act on reports. Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts. Illegal content - and CSAM in particular - is removed on becoming aware of it and handled under our Child Safety Standards.
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may contact [CONTACT EMAIL] to request a review.
