Places YLS members in external internships across government, NGO, and private sectors. Mandatory for all active members. Directly supervised by the National President.
Increasing access to quality education in underprivileged areas through partnerships with the Federal Ministry of Education, Ghazali Education Trust (enhanced enrollment for girls), Adult Education Centers, and a Quran Academy serving transgender individuals.
Ongoing legal and policy campaign for the restoration of student unions in Pakistani universities. A Supreme Court writ petition has been filed. YLS is a lead civil society voice in this movement.
Tree plantation drives, Miyawaki forest restoration (with Islamabad District Administration), water stream rehabilitation (with Islamabad City Council), and Al-Kalam Series environmental awareness content (with Shor Media).
School-based sex education, breast cancer awareness workshops (with Savvital LC and SAFE Pakistan), and disaster risk reduction training. Partnered with UNAIDS and UNFPA since December 2025.
Mentorship and networking programmes for young entrepreneurs across YLS chapters. Supported by engagement with NICP Peshawar (National Incubation Centre) for the KPK ecosystem.
Parliamentary visits, policy study circles, and civic rights education in collaboration with LUMS Policy Research Institute. Equipping youth to understand and participate in Pakistan's political processes.
Bridging the digital divide in underserved communities. Integrates computer skills training and internet safety education into school workshops. Supported by the Bano Qabil 2.0 partnership with Al-Khidmat Foundation.
Outdoor leadership through adventure. Inaugurated with Tiger Peak, Khyber (May 2025). Most recent: YAC × YLSP Basant trip (Feb 2026). Builds leadership, team cohesion, and environmental consciousness.
Professional profiling and 1:1 consultations helping members build their CVs, statements of purpose, and personal leadership portfolios. Currently in development.
Model United Nations conference organised in partnership with Capital Council Initiative (CCI). Develops diplomatic skills, international affairs awareness, and public speaking in YLS members.
Young Leaders Society's flagship media programme. Moving conversations filmed in natural environments. A 13-episode guest pipeline includes journalists, policymakers, lawyers, climate advocates, and youth leaders. Currently in pre-production.
Advocacy campaign with Al-Khidmat Foundation that secured the right to residence for over 100,000 students in private hostels in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Press conference at National Press Club (Sep 25), student protest at Islamabad Press Club (Oct 1). CDA de-sealed all hostels and committed to on-campus housing provision (Oct 2).
National youth-technology dialogue with Pakistan Digital Authority and Ministry of IT. YLS served as Cultural Ambassadors and event conveners. Led to a formal MoU positioning YLS as a national partner on youth and tech policy.
Humanitarian fundraising for KPK flood victims (Shangla, Buner, Jalalpur Pirwala) in partnership with Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and Al-Khidmat Foundation. Funds collected via HBL account.
Held at Aiwan-e-Quaid, Islamabad, in partnership with UNAIDS and UNFPA. Youth dialogue and advocacy on HIV/AIDS awareness and SRHR rights.
Smog awareness and climate advocacy campaign targeting air quality in Islamabad. Builds on Tabish's earlier Punjab smog policy work. Climate petition circulated across chapters.
Community welfare drive during Ramadan by YLSP Bloomfield Hall chapter in partnership with Khushali Welfare and AKIxYouth Foundation. Food packages and gifts distributed to over 30 families and 80 children.
Two-day summit for YLS Media Directors covering social media strategy, content creation, and digital storytelling. Mandatory for all chapter media leads.
The first trip of the Young Adventure Club, landmark in YLS's outdoor leadership programme.
Tabish represented Pakistan at the International AIDS Conference 2024 in Munich. SRHR and AIDS engagement that laid the foundation for the UNAIDS/UNFPA partnership.
YLSP participated in National Youth Summit 2025 under the theme "Local Actions, Global Impact."
YLS hosted Maldivian delegates at the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (CAYA) Summit. Zainab Ali coordinated the engagement, strengthening YLS's international network.
